Communicating with clients through WhatsApp offers the advantage of real-time interaction, rapid response, and high visibility due to its automation capabilities. One valuable feature available is the ability to track the delivery status of your messages. This status can be integrated as a condition within your workflows, allowing you to implement a contingency plan if a WhatsApp message fails to reach your contact.
Steps to Implement:
Access the Automation Section:
Navigate to the Workflow tab under the Automation section, where you can either create a new workflow or modify an existing one. This feature is compatible with any workflow trigger.Add WhatsApp Action:
Within the workflow builder, click on the plus icon to insert a WhatsApp action. Choose the desired message template and activate the "Wait for WhatsApp Message Delivery Status" option.Set Conditional Branching:
Add an If/Else action by clicking on the plus icon. For the branches, select "Contact Details" followed by "Valid WhatsApp." This will utilize the data provided by Meta to differentiate contacts based on whether the message was successfully delivered.Customize and Finalize:
Add any additional actions that suit your workflow’s needs and save the changes.
With these steps, you're all set! Now you can follow up with any contacts who encounter issues with receiving your WhatsApp messages, ensuring continuous communication.
