We're thrilled to announce our latest update to Mobile payments - Automatic Taxes. You can now automatically calculate and apply taxes for customers across multiple countries, while creating invoices, POS transactions, or estimates.
What’s New
- Automatic Tax Calculation for Checkouts - Taxes can now be calculated automatically on Invoices, POS transactions, and Estimates based on the customer’s address.
- Product-level configuration - Product tax codes can now be selected and configured for both existing products and newly created ones.

This update brings the power of global tax automation to your mobile app, helping you stay compliant, save time, and eliminate manual tax errors.
How It Works
Set Up Automatic Taxes (Web)
- Go to Payments → Settings → Taxes → Automatic Taxes
- Configure your nexus addresses (countries/states) and plug in your Tax IDs.
Create or Edit an Invoice (Mobile)
- Open the mobile app with your preferred account.
- Navigate to Invoice or the POS module.
- To create a new invoice, tap on the floating + button on the bottom right of the screen.
- To enable Automatic Taxes for your invoice, tap the icon on the top-right corner of the screen to open Settings, and toggle on Automatic Taxes.
- When you select products linked to tax categories, taxes will be applied automatically based on the recipient’s address and your nexus setup.
- Review and send, your tax amounts will appear automatically in the summary.
- In case the recipient’s address details are wrong or missing, it can be edited directly from the review section.
