Adding Custom Text Boxes to Your Dashboard

Modified on Mon, 2 Sep at 11:50 AM

The Dashboard is the first thing users see upon logging into their account, providing a comprehensive overview of all activities within the system. It’s an ideal space to display notes or reminders for your team, such as motivational quotes or important goals. These messages can be added through a Text Box element on the Dashboard.

To get started, switch to editing mode by clicking on the pencil icon.

Enter Editing Mode

Next, select Add Widget to open the left-side menu where various widgets and elements are available. Navigate to the Elements tab and choose the Text Box element.

Add Text Box Element

This action will generate a text box where you can input your desired content. The text box comes with a variety of formatting options, accessible at the top of the box. You can align the text, change the color, and create bulleted or numbered lists, among other formatting options.

Format Text in Text Box

Once you are satisfied with the content and formatting, click Save to add the Text Box to your Dashboard.

 Save Text Box

You can also reposition the Text Box by dragging it to a new location or resize it by adjusting the right corner.

Move or Resize Text Box

After finalizing the placement and appearance, click Save Changes to confirm your modifications. That’s it! You've successfully added a Text Box to your Dashboard. For more ways to customize your dashboard, explore the other articles in this section.
