To PUBLISH any workflows, it's essential to set up both a workflow trigger and a corresponding action. Without both components, the workflow can only be saved but not published.
The "Update Contact Field" action provides users with the ability to alter specific fields within a contact's profile. This functionality helps in keeping your contact information up-to-date, which is crucial for maintaining accurate records, enhancing communication, and fostering better relationships.
Adding and Managing Fields
To start, click on the + icon to insert a new workflow action and select "Update Contact Field." You will then have the option to either update an existing field or clear it. After making your choice, click on +Add Field.
If updating the field, you can choose from either standard or custom fields and input the new data. For clearing field data, this option is available exclusively for custom fields.
