Triggering SMS Messages
Incorporate the Send SMS action into your workflow to automatically send a text message to a customer upon activation of the workflow. To set this up, click the "+" icon to add a new action, then choose Send SMS from the options.
Editing the Action
Utilizing Templates
If you have a pre-designed SMS template, select it from the Select Template dropdown menu, or quickly find it by typing its name into the search bar.
Crafting Your Message
In cases where you're not using a template, simply draft your SMS message directly in the provided message box.
Adding Personalization
Incorporate custom values to tailor the SMS to each recipient, such as including their name. You can also embed trigger links to direct recipients to specific funnel pages or websites.
Including Attachments
If you want to send a file or image along with your SMS, click the Add attachment button, then select the file or image you wish to attach.
Adding Files via URL
To add a file through a URL, enter the URL into the provided field and click "+Add" to include it.
Testing the SMS
After entering all the SMS details, you can test the message by inputting a demo phone number in the designated box and clicking Send Test SMS. Make sure you use a real number to see how the message will appear on a mobile device. When everything looks good, finalize the action by clicking the Save Action button at the bottom right.
SMS Performance Tracking
Once your workflow is active and customers begin receiving SMS messages, you can monitor the performance metrics.
Delivered: Number of SMS messages successfully delivered.
Clicked: Count of recipients who clicked on the SMS content.
Failed: Number of messages that failed to reach recipients.
View Details: Access detailed statistics for a deeper analysis.
