We’ve added a new downgrade flow for SaaS clients — with full control for accounts.
What’s New
- Accounts can allow or disallow downgrades.
- Configure custom downgrade reasons (edit, remove, or add your own).
- Option to show discount offers to prevent churn.
- Downgrade takes effect from the next billing cycle (no proration).
- Customers can abort a downgrade before it takes effect.
- Accounts get detailed logs of all downgrade attempts for visibility and analysis.
Why It Matters
This gives accounts flexibility to let clients manage billing themselves while protecting revenue with built-in deflections. It also reduces manual support intervention for billing changes.
