Prospecting Audit Report: Accuracy & Transparency

Modified on Thu, 28 Aug at 5:49 AM

We’ve made a series of backend improvements to make your Marketing Audit Reports more accurate, credible, and transparent. These updates ensure you can confidently share audits with prospects and use them as a stronger sales tool.
What’s New
1. Improved Website Chat Widget Detection
  • Before: Many websites with chat widgets were not being detected correctly in audit reports, leading to false negatives.
  • Now: With more advanced backend checks and expanded testing, chat widget detection is significantly more accurate.
  • Impact
: Accounts can now rely on audits to highlight whether or not prospects are engaging with customers through live chat — creating upsell opportunities when they aren’t.
2. Enhanced Techno Stack Accuracy: Improved detection for
  1. Google Tag Manager
  2. Google Analytics Pixel
  3. Google Ads Pixel
  4. Google Ads
Impact
: Audits now better reflect the actual marketing tools in place on a prospect’s site, helping you spot gaps and position your services effectively.

3. SEO Audit: Better GBP Category Matching
  • Before: SEO Heatmaps sometimes used a different category than what was listed on the prospect’s Google Business Profile (GBP), creating mismatched results.
  • Now: Heatmaps now pull directly from GBP categories with higher accuracy.
  • Impact
: You and your prospects see SEO results that match exactly how they’re represented on Google.
4. Online Reputation Scoring Update
  • Before: Businesses with very few reviews (even if all 5-star) could receive a perfect 100% score.
  • Now: Scoring logic has been updated so that low review volume is taken into account, preventing artificially inflated scores.
  • Impact
: Reputation audits now reflect a more realistic credibility picture, helping you have more authentic conversations with prospects.
5. Premium Report Tag Fix
  • Before: Customers with active Premium Prospecting subscriptions sometimes didn’t see their reports marked as “Premium,” due to internal tagging logic.
  • Now: All reports generated by Premium subscribers are consistently labeled as Premium.
  • Additionally: A new Premium badge has been added to the internal Audit Report view for clarity (not shown in external PDF or shared reports).
  • Impact
: Eliminates confusion and ensures customers always see their Premium subscription value reflected.

6. PDF Export Reliability Improvements
  • Before: In some cases, PDF exports of Audit Reports were getting stuck or timing out, especially for larger or premium reports with multiple sections.
  • Now: We’ve optimized backend PDF generation and added better error handling. Exports now complete faster and are more reliable, with reduced failure rates.
  • Impact
: Customers can confidently export and share PDF reports with prospects without worrying about incomplete or failed downloads.
Why It Matters
  • More accurate data = more credibility with prospects.
  • Stronger sales narratives (e.g., missing chat widgets, no website, low review counts).
  • Clearer subscription value with Premium tags fixed.
  • More reliable report exports for client presentations.
