Switch Form Types in Builder

The Problem Statement 

Previously, when users wanted to change the form type in the builder, the process was rigid and caused dead clicks. Switching form types would often result in lost settings, forcing users to restart their work if they wanted to compare or revert to a previous type.

What’s New

Now, users can seamlessly switch between form types during editing.

Click “Continue” to start editing
Use the “Change Form Type” dropdown anytime
Switch back to your original type to restore previous settings (in-session only)

How to Use 

Go to Marketing → Email Builder
Add a form element and select your desired initial type.
Click “Continue” to start editing.
Use the “Change Form Type” dropdown to switch between form types.
If you return to the original type in the same session, your previous settings will be restored.
Preview and save your form as needed.

Notes 

Settings are only saved for the current session.
Works for all users and devices.
